Issue: The FileAssure Print Driver Utility does not pop-up when I print to FileAssure
Solution: Use the Microsoft Print to PDF option to save the web page to the FileAssure folder
If you do not see Microsoft Print to PDF as an option, you'll have to enable it by following these steps:
- Click the Windows Start button
- Type in ‘Advanced printer setup’ and click it
- Click the link that says ‘The printer that I want isn’t listed’
- Select ‘Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings’
- Ensure ‘Use an existing port’ is select
- Choose ‘FILE: (Print to File)’ in the drop down list
- Choose Microsoft from the Manufacturer list
- Choose ‘Microsoft Print to PDF’ in the Printers list
- Click Next
- Name it appropriately and click next
- Do not set it as a the default printer
- Click Finish
