The Fileassure-Ascend link enables the documents page to open automatically when you switch between different estates in Ascend. This is possible by cross referencing the estate number from Ascend, and any matching estate numbers in Fileassure.
Debtors that do not exist in Fileassure
In the event you are accessing an estate in Ascend that does not exist in Fileassure, you will be presented with a creation page to easily create the record in Fileassure.
This page will automatically populate the first name, middle name, last name, estate number, and file name from Ascend. You simply need to verify the details and click the proceed button.
Linking to an existing debtor in Fileassure
Linking to an existing debtor in Fileassure can also be done by following the steps below.
- Type in the Fileassure file name, or a segment of it in the following text box:
- Click Search
- Select the record with the radio button
- Click Proceed
