TransUnion credit reports can be pulled for your debtors in Fileassure with a simple click of a button. The information from the credit reports can be used to populate the liabilities section of Fileassure, and then exported to Ascend.


Pulling a Credit Report

  1. Go to a debtor file
  2. Click the “Request Creditor Report” button
    A pop-up window will appear showing the information that will be sent to TransUnion, and the required consent agreement to pull the credit report.


  3. Verify this information with the debtor

    If any information needs to be modified, click Cancel and enter edit mode to make the changes.

  4. Gather consent from the debtor through a signed agreement/form
  5. Upload the form by clicking Choose File
  6. Click Upload
  7. Select the last box "By click this box, you are confirming that there is a signed consent form that is uploaded and present for this client."
  8. Click “Request Report”


The report will take up to 1 minute to load. If the report does not load by this time go to the Credit Report screen from the sub menu


Viewing the Credit Report

The credit report will be presented on the client’s profile page when a credit report is pulled. The credit report you see here is a complete TransUnion credit report that contains the following sections:

  • Credit Summary
  • TransAlert
  • Credit Summary Details
  • Banking
  • Bankruptcy
  • Legal
  • Collection
  • Trade
  • Registered Item
