POC Categories from the processing screen can be customized in the Admin section. POC Categories help track the different dispositions of received POCs and enable you to create e-mail templates for deficient notices to creditors.
Creating POC Categories
- Go to Admin > Configurations > Workflow Templates
- Type in a POC category name in the POC Template Name text box
- Select the applicable work queue under the Case Type drop down menu, that the POC Category name will appear in
- Click Add
Customizing the Templates
Once a POC category is created you can proceed to create a corresponding template.
Begin by clicking the modify button for one of the POC Categories created above.
The two fields that will appear by default with every POC category is a debtor filename text box, and a description text box. If additional fields need to be filled in, continue on with customizing the template by clicking edit.
The main purpose of creating a template for a POC category is if there is a certain deficiency that needs to be raised with the creditor. Creating the templates allows you to:
- Define additional fields that will appear for a POC category
- Define the subject and body of the email that will be sent to creditors and/or internal staff members
Once you click edit, you'll have the option to type in a subject line, the body of the email. The merge tags to the right of this screen allows FileAssure to populate according to what you type in the field from the POC Intake screen.
Checking off "Creditor Email" will ensure that extra fields are added when that category is selected for discrepancy purposes. Example: the creditor's email to send the template.
Checking off "Send Alert to" will ensure that a field is added when that category is selected to alert other users on FileAssure about this discrepancy.
POC Category
Now that the POC Category has been defined, and the templates set up appropriately - the POC category can be selected from the POC Processing screen. Different fields, for different POC categories will appear based on the merge tags you included in the POC Templates section.
