Drag and Drop
Documents can be dragged and dropped onto two areas in Fileassure, 1) Documents page, and 2) Home page. The difference depends on the number of documents you want to upload and specificity.
Home Page
Dragging and dropping documents to the home page offers the flexibility of upload the documents to all one debtor or multiple debtors. It is best utilized if you want to upload the same type of document across multiple debtor files.
- Navigate to the home page
- Select the documents from your computer
- Drag and drop the document(s) onto the list of items on the work queue You should notice the area highlight in a light shade of blue
A pop up will appear where you can define how it will be named.
Batch naming
You can apply the same naming convention to the documents you selected by using the mass apply option. This will save you time in having to select the same folder name, prefix, and description individually.
- Go to the mass apply row at the top of the pop-up
- Select a folder
- Select a prefix
- (Optional) Type in a description
- Click the checkmark
- Go to each document row and select the correct debtor record
