Setting up SMS notification templates
Users are able to customize different templates to send out based on the categories of meeting date or payment date.
When setting up the templates, users can then activate the notifications in order for them to start sending out the text messages.
To create a new SMS template, use the following steps:
- Go to Admin
- Go to Configurations > SMS Templates
- Here you can modify existing templates, or create new ones
- Click the “Create Template button”
- A pop up will appear:
- Name the SMS Template. An example would be “Meeting Reminder – 1 Day Before”
- Select the Trigger type. Choice are between meeting date and payment date
- Once the trigger is selected, specific short codes will appear pertaining to that trigger type
- The user can now create the message using the short codes that will grab the information on FileAssure.
Example:
Hello @Firstname,
This is a reminder that you have an appointment with @agent at our @location location at @Meetingtime on @Meetingdate.
Please come by 15 minutes before hand to sign your paperwork.
We look forward to seeing you on @meetingdate.
Users have the choice of turning on the Auto Response feature. If turned on, the response: “Please reply "Yes" to confirm or "N@mmdd" to cancel the appointment.” will appear on the users’ phone when the notification is sent. “N@mmdd” will translate to N and the meeting date on the device.
The option of sending the auto response can be turned off at anytime.
If the debtor responds with the “NMeetingDate” response, an email notification will be sent to the agent and a case item added to the relative Scheduled Appointment case on the Work Queue.
